Manjushree Thangka Paintings

Manjushree is the bodhisattva of wisdom, easy to recognize by the flaming sword he holds above his head. That sword cuts through ignorance and confusion rather than causing harm. His other hand often balances a lotus supporting the Prajnaparamita sutra, the wisdom teaching he embodies.
