Ghau Thangka

Ghau Thangka pieces are small-format devotional paintings, made to fit inside a traditional ghau, the portable amulet box many Tibetan Buddhists carry or wear. These miniature works carry the same detail and symbolism as a full-size thangka in a compact form suited for travel or daily practice. Our artists hand-paint each piece in Kathmandu using natural mineral pigments and genuine 24K gold.
